Q. Do you have wireless internet?
A. Yes we do!  Each cottage has its own password protected wireless network.

Q. How far is my cottage from the Fort Myers Airport (RSW)?
A. Cottages of Paradise Point is 20-30 minutes from the Fort Myers Airport (RSW).

Q. Where on Fort Myers Beach is Cottages of Paradise Point? How far from the Times Square area and the Fort Myers Beach fishing pier?
A. Cottages of Paradise Point is on the north end of Fort Myers Beach about 4 blocks from the Times Square area and the Fort Myers Beach fishing pier.

Q. Is there a swimming pool?
A. There is a swimming pool between the Gulf and Sun Cottages that you have been invited to use. Use of this pool is not included in your rent. The owners of the pool have invited you to use it as their guest. This invitation is extended only to guests registered in your cottage. All the owners of the pool ask is that you and all members of your party behave responsibly, follow the rules as posted, and sign the waiver included in your welcome package. Your invitation to use the pool is contingent on signing the waiver.

Q. Can I get mid-week cleanings?
A. Yes you can. Just ask Leisure American about it.

Q. Will my cottage have a grill?  Washing machine/clothes dryer?
A. Every cottage has a propane grill, as well as its own washer and dryer.

Q. How far from the beach is my cottage?
A. Each cottage is steps from the beach.

Q. I’m having trouble figuring out the layout of the cottages in relation to each other?
A. Here is a drawing of the cottage layout.  It is not to scale and does not accurately reflect what the view from each cottage is.  For that look at the individual cottage pictures.  There is a picture of the view from each cottage included.

Q. What does my view look like?
A. We have included a picture of the view from each cottage along with the other pictures of each cottage on the website.

Q. Do you have cribs, playpens and strollers available?
A. Cribs, playpens, strollers as well as bicycles and beach equipment are available to rent from Happy Baby Rentals. Their website is www.happybabyrentals.com. Their phone number is 239-765-7368 and their email is happybabyrentals@hotmail.com. Be sure to tell them you are renting a cottage at Cottages of Paradise Point.

Q. What is the address of my cottage?
A. All cottages are located in Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931

Gulf Cottage is 466 Estero Boulevard. Sun Cottage is 464 Estero Boulevard. Mermaid Cottage is 462 Estero Boulevard. Coconut Cottage is 460 Estero Boulevard. Island Cottage is 454 Estero Boulevard. Seahorse Cottage is 452 Estero Boulevard. Dolphin Cottage is 436 Estero Boulevard.

Q. Do I need to bring beach towels?
A. Nope – each cottage has a full supply of beach towels for you and your family to use.

Q. Do I need to bring beach lounges or chairs? 
A. There is deck furniture on each cottage’s deck and at the swimming pool.  This furniture stays in place on the deck.  There are also lounge chairs on the beach for the use of our guests.  Many guests bring their own favorite beach lounges or chairs, and others purchase inexpensive furniture on the beach which they often leave behind when they leave.  We leave these “left-behinds” under the cottages for other guest’s use until they finally break and get thrown away.

Q. What about beach umbrellas?
A. We provide an umbrella stand on your deck, but do not supply umbrellas.  Inexpensive umbrellas can be purchased on the beach.  Most folks leave these inexpensive umbrellas behind when they depart, and and we leave them out for other guest’s use until they finally break and get thrown away.

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Groceries, clothes, bathing suits, and sunscreen. Don’t forget the kids.

Q. What about paper products and soap? 
A. We get you started with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, soap, etc.

Q. Does my cottage have a washer and dryer?
A. Each cottage has its own washer and dryer.

Q. How much is the deposit?
A. All reservations for one week or less require an advance deposit of $400.00 for each week or part thereof at time of booking.

Q. When is my rent due?
A. Winter/Spring Season (through Easter week) reservations require payment in full 90 days prior to arrival, or by December 15th, whichever is earlier. Summer/Fall Season reservations require payment in full 90 days prior to arrival. Reservations made inside the seasonal due dates require payment in full at time of booking.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to an administrative fee of $200.00 per week or part thereof.

Reservations made 180 days or more in advance of arrival:
Advance deposits and other payments on rentals made 180 days or more in advance of arrival are refundable up to 180 days in advance of arrival. After that they become non-refundable.

Reservations made less than 180 days in advance of arrival:
1. Winter/Spring Season (through Easter week) – Advance deposits and other payments on rentals for the Winter/Spring Season made less than 180 days prior to arrival are refundable up to 90 days prior to arrival, or on December 15th, whichever is earlier. After that they become non-refundable.

2. Summer/Fall Season – Advance deposits and other payments on rentals for the Summer/Fall Season made less than 180 days prior to arrival are refundable up to 90 days prior to arrival. After that they become non-refundable.

Note: Regardless of season, payments on rentals made inside the seasonal due date are non-refundable. There are no refunds and/or adjustments to the rental rate for late arrivals, early departures, mechanical failures, acts of god and violation of any part of the Terms and Conditions.

Q. Do longer term stays and multiple cottage rentals have different payment and cancellation policies?
A. Longer stays and multiple cottage rentals may have different cancellation and refund policies.
